so, my afternoon went something like this:

- City Bakery on W 18th. Yuppies with laptops + cool antique interior + a really good chocolate tart = love! despite the yuppies!

- Awash, an Ethiopian restaurant on E 6th Street in the East Village. Meat combo was tangy and tasty and even though there was lamb I was okay with it.

- Sundaes & Cones on E 10th - some of the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted, and I’ve tasted a lot.

- Eastern Promises. I didn’t even realize that Viggo was the guy from Lord of the Rings. It was that good.
